I've been scouring the web lately, looking for good resources on designing university and college web sites. I'm surprised at how little I've been able to dig up. If you know of any others, please share them here—sites, lists, blogs, books, articles, etc.. Thanks to the University Web Developers' list for pointing me in the direction of some of these.

- University Web Developers' Mailing List: a discussion forum for people responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a web site for a higher education institution such as a University.
- HighEdWeb: mailing list of HighEdWeb, an organization of Web professionals working at institutions of higher education; holds the annual HighEdWebDev conference.

- Campus Technology: web site of the magazine Campus Technology.
- The Chronicle of Higher Education - Information Technology: online presence of the weekly publication.
- Inside Higher Ed.com: online source for news, opinion and career advice and services for all of higher education.
- EDUCAUSE: nonprofit association promoting the intelligent use of information technology in higher education.
- University Business: web site of the monthly magazine.
