I finally got around to watching this, so thought I would share. So, for your Friday afternoon enjoyment, here are some startingly and thought-provoking facts to mull over this weekend.

"Did You Know?" is by Karl Fisch and Scott McLeod of shifthappens.

Great resource for me to share with the parents at my kids school. As a parent I not only recognize the need for educators to understand these shifts but it is a part of my own personal mandate to tour across the web and raise my own level of awareness.

That means we are not just in an era of shift that our kids our facing, our schools need to understand, but also one where continuous improvement is the greatest reality - and IMHO that means this change begins with us as parents, learning to adopt a lifestyle that learns how to become adaptive.

So SHIFT HAPPENS is an excellent resource and I will certainly spread the word to my the respective schools of my own kids.

According to author Ray Oldenburg, everybody needs a third place (besides home [1] and workplace [2]). In lieu of the local colesium, neighborhood bar or corner store, the Internet has become the third place for many people in America—a virtual hangout where conversation flourishes, friendships are made and citizens meet. Often in our pajamas.

I've been hanging out here since 1996, building web sites, making friends, and learning. This blog is my small contribution to the lively, never-ending dialogue.

Thanks for stopping by.
